Gem Stone Mining and Dino Dig

Gem Stone Pic Always looking for new ways to create a Family Fun environment, we have added two new attractions. In 1996, a Gem Mining operation was installed, complete with a 16 ft. Water Tower, 180 feet of wooden sluiceways and 14 waterfalls. Customers purchase a bag of "mining rough" mixed with 22 varieties of semi-precious stones including rubies, emeralds, amethyst and more. A sluice box is provided and instructions are given on how to pan properly, just like the old timers did! The faces of young and old alike come alive as they watch their treasures appear.

Dino Dig Pic
Eagle Mills "Dino Dig" Another great attraction for the younger ones of the family, the Eagle Mills "Dino Dig" features an exciting, hands-on educational opportunity for children 2 to 10 years old. Kids dig for "dino eggs" in a secured area, with buckets and shovels provided by Eagle Mills. The fun begins when the colorful eggs are unearthed in the sand. Children dig for up to 5 eggs, and have the option of trading 2 eggs for other Dinosaur related items in the gift shop. Items such as Dino erasers, stickers, rulers, coloring books...and more!
